Project Spotlight: The Dayton ArcadeThe Hub, and The Tank

The 117 year old complex had been shuttered for decades, considered for demolition. 37 Volts collaborated with Cross-Street Partners, Model-Group and the architectural design teams to "Wake the Giant" with new lighting.

For the Rotunda, our goal was to respect the heritage of the building, while adding DMX controlled luminaires for corporate events and weddings.

At The Hub, we began with the interior designer's aesthetic vision for the luminaires, then developed lighting layouts for proper illumination levels and wrote performance specifications that ultimately delivered a lighting package that saved Cross-Street hundreds of thousands in lighting material costs.

A subterranean round theatre and event space, deemed "The Tank" features blue 'flames' of light evocative of burning natural gas, serving as a nod to its sponsor, CenterPoint Energy.
